Bio

Kylla Piqueras

Kylla Mónica Piqueras Bertie (Lima, 1979) develops a practice at the intersection of contemporary art, ethnobotanical research and ritual performance.

Her work brings ancestral textile techniques and contemporary languages together, building bridges between memory, territory and expanded states of consciousness. She lives and works in Mexico City.
